Swiss Perch Ceviche – Fresh, light & incredibly aromatic

Ceviche – the Peruvian national dish – thrives on the quality of the fish. Therefore, our most important tip: Use only the best quality fish!

We deliver ultra-fresh, skinless perch fillets directly from Switzerland— in sashimi quality—to your door within 24 hours . It really doesn't get any fresher than this.

Here is our simple but sophisticated recipe for 4 people:

Ingredients (for 4 people)

approx. 400 g perch fillet without skin

5 limes (juice)

approx. 10 g fresh ginger

2 red onions

1 small chili pepper

some fresh coriander

Salt & Pepper

preparation

  1. Prepare the fish
    Cut perch fillets into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Prepare the marinade
    Peel the ginger and grate it finely.
    Wash the chili, remove the seeds and cut into fine rings.
    Squeeze the juice from the limes.

  3. Marinate fish
    Place fish pieces in a bowl with ginger, chili and lime juice.
    Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours . Stir occasionally.

  4. Add fresh ingredients
    Peel onions and cut into fine rings.
    Pick coriander leaves.
    Mix everything together with the fish.

  5. Season & serve
    Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and serve immediately – best with crusty bread or tortilla chips.
